The Same Team, Start to Finish

Rehab Select at Hillview Terrace tailors care to each patient, serving Montgomery, Elmore, Autauga, Lowndes, Macon, and Tallapoosa counties.

Therapy takes place across three gyms, for occupational, physical, and speech therapy, using equipment that pinpoints each patient's weaknesses for a precise plan of attack, plus air-pressure resistance equipment that builds strength without the intimidation of traditional weights. Patients have access to up to three hours of therapy each day, and recover in large private rooms and outdoor courtyards, easing the emotional weight of a stay.

An on-staff physiatrist, orthopedic physicians, and a vascular surgeon round weekly, with the vascular surgeon leading weekly wound care rounds; a psychiatrist and psychologist round weekly as well— with leadership staying visible on the floor, not managing from behind a desk.

Positioned just off Atlanta Highway and a short drive from downtown Montgomery, we help patients move from hospital to rehabilitation — and home — safely and confidently.

Select at Hillview Terrace recently earned the 2026 AHCA/NCAL Bronze — Commitment to Quality Award from the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. We were also able to invest in employee safety with a $20,000 grant from the Healthcare Workers’ Compensation Fund that funded a Sit-to-Stand Lift.

Community Engagement
Community Engagement
Staying connected to local residents and seniors is important, and we do so through a Chamber of Commerce liaison and work with Pilgrim Rest, True Divine, New Home Baptist, and Freewill Senior Centers, calling bingo and donating gifts. When Pilgrim Rest hosted its senior prom for 800+ older adults at the Multiplex, Hillview Terrace brought residents to join in. Each fall, the facility hosts Big Bingo, drawing roughly 300 seniors at Frazer Church.

Clinical Education and Training
Hillview Terrace helps train the next generation of caregivers, partnering with Central Alabama Community College and Trenholm State on apprenticeships, and Auburn University at Montgomery on nursing rotations. Through the Nursing Assistant Academy of Montgomery — a separate entity owned by Schmidt Wallace, Rehab Select’s parent company — students complete clinical rotations here, with many hired on staff.

Giving back is a consistent thread in Hillview Terrace’s community work. The facility has donated to the Jackson Hospital Foundation and regularly sponsors or contributes to events hosted by fellow senior-living and assisted-living partners. The relationship with Jackson Hospital extends further through the hospital’s annual golf tournament each September, which Hillview Terrace participates in as part of its ongoing support for the organization.

Stories of Recovery

“I would like to say that, without exception, everyone did their best to make my stay at Hillview Terrace a very pleasant experience. Cynthia (OT) and Jennifer (PT) kept raising the bar with their exercises but not beyond what I could do. My wife and two sons could see the daily improvement. My wife commented that I was actually walking better than before.”
— Patient
“I have been so blessed to come here. The people who work here are so lovely and care about patients. The employees are excited to do their job to the fullest. I see how hard they work together. I have grown stronger from how people treat each other. I’ll never forget this. Thank you for letting me come here.”
